Hi There! My name is Ivoire Lenior. I’m from Chicago, IL and have relocated to Atlanta Ga to expand my catering business. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Dillard University and later pursued my culinary degree from LeCordon Bleu. The smell of food is nostalgic. My love for cooking began in the kitchen of my grandparent’s home, which created the chef I am today. Although born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, my grandparents are from New Orleans, LA.
Some of their cooking techniques are instilled in me. My grandparents’ recipes are second nature and are pierced in my heart. My grandma, affectionately known as “Bigma” would cook dinner daily. She made Gumbo & “RED GRAVY” from scratch, which was the talk amongst all my friends whenever they came to dinner. Every Sunday my grandfather “Grandad” would cook breakfast, Salt Pork and Biscuits that lightened the entire house.
Food is comforting and warms the soul. I find great pleasure entertaining and bringing joy to others through my cooking techniques. I inspire to master flavors that excite taste pallets while leaving customers with an overall great experience. Cooking and plating is my artistic form to express my love and respect for the culinary industry. I would also love to share this with you!
